On Friday, Oct. 4, families can experience a free planetarium star show and then make their way to the museum’s rooftop observatory to view the stars.
In the Space Gallery, kids can experience hands-on activities and demonstrations from the staff. It’s a fun way for families to learn and enjoy a night out together.
For the late night crowd, the museum’s laser shows are always a crowd pleaser, featuring a show set to music. Admission is $4 per child, $8 for adults. October’s shows are:
8 p.m. - “Pop” (Family Laser Show)
9 p.m. - The Beatles: Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band
10 p.m. - Best of Led Zeppelin
11 p.m. - Pink Floyd: Animals
Midnight - Radiohead
Also, while you'rere at the museum, don’t miss the newest exhibit, Moving Things. Here you’ll learn the hows and whys of what it takes to move everyday objects. From cars to stars – it’s a hands-on learning experience for kids of all ages.
