By: Carrie McLaren

The Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens welcomes the addition of two new cheetahs.

Named Iraja and Jagati, the two male cheetahs are siblings and were born on Oct. 27, 2009 at White Oak Conservation Center in Yulee, Florida.

These two new cheetahs replace three female cheetahs that were sent to the San Diego Zoo to participate in the cheetah Species Survival Plan® (SSP) Program breeding initiative.

Located in Sanford, The Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens  is dedicated to the conservation of wildlife and to engaging and educating guests by sharing knowledge and celebrating our natural world.
