If you’re looking for the home where the buffaloes roam, check out Billie Swamp Safari on the Big Cypress Seminole Indian Reservation.
An airboat ride will take you through part of 2,200 acres of untamed Florida Everglades, where you can see bison and water buffalo, and zip through a cypress swamp with alligators, turtles and fish hanging out in their natural habitat.
Climb aboard the swamp buggy for a bumpy, giggly ride through the wetlands to see native and exotic wildlife like wild pigs and ostriches. The complex grounds also include shady pavilions where you can see a snake show, swamp critter show and alligator feeding at the gator pit.
Hungry? Check out Swamp Water Café, where you can try alligator tail nuggets or frog legs.
