It’s summertime and that means it’s officially baseball season!
The Tampa Bay Rays, in the American League play their games in the heart of St. Pete at Tropicana Field. No need to worry about the rain – it’s a domed stadium! My family and I had a great time there a few years ago while we were on vacation. Be on the lookout for the sting ray tank in the stadium – it’s pretty unique!
The Marlins, part of the National League Eastern division, play their home games in Miami at Marlins Field. No need to worry about too much sunshine or rain here – the Marlins has a retractable roof! Besides the game, kids will love seeing Billy the Marlin, the team’s mascot.
If you’re traveling in other cities throughout Florida, check to see if there’s a minor league baseball team nearby. They are pretty affordable and always a great time!
