Celebrate unity, peace and music at the fourth annual Miami Reggae Festival on Nov. 23, 2013.
Dance the night away to a steel drum beat and international sounds. The festival will showcase 10 bands from nine nations including:
- Jamaican reggae progeny Stephen "Ragga" Marley
- Tiken Jah Fakoly from Africa’s Ivory Coast
- Cultura Profética from Puerto Rico
- Natiruts from Brazil
- Midnite from St. Croix USVI
- Gondwana from Chile
- Black Slate & Carroll Thompson from the United Kingdom
- Bachaco from Venezuela
- Causion from Antigua
The event also features DJ performances from Don One Musical Showcase, Cornerstone Sounds & DJ Majestic and MC Lance O of Kulcha Shok Muzik.
There will be an artisan village, greening workshops, healthy living seminars, a kids area and more.

Proceeds will go to TECHO, a youth led non-profit organization at work in 19 countries including in Latin America and the Caribbean.
Insider Tip: Attendees are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items which will be distributed to families in need the very next day. Festival organizers are also offering free admission to everyone that arrives before 3 p.m. and brings at least two canned goods.
