Much of John's Pass Village is suspended over water and all of it is nestled against it.
It’s a cheerful cluster of rustic shops, cafes and businesses, an utterly casual place where you can eat a grouper sandwich under the shade of a beach umbrella.
You’ll see folks dressed in shorts and swimsuits and cover ups. Some are eating ice cream cones and strolling down the boardwalk, others are exploring the shops. You can go on dolphin tours or go fishing or zoom around on a jet ski.
All of which makes it a perfect setting for the John’s Pass Annual Seafood Festival, Oct. 25-27, 2013, in Madeira Beach. The family-friendly event features a juried art show, plenty of fresh local seafood, unique shops, live music, a street dance, a fishing expo and a children's area.
Sounds like a recipe for a good time!
