MacArthur Beach State Park Moonlights Hosting Concerts

By: Lauren Tjaden

Visiting MacArthur Beach State Park feels like letting out your breath and not realizing that you were holding it. With every step you take on the boardwalk, you feel lighter. When the beach unfolds in front of you, a glorious sweep of cinnamon-hued sand, it’s hard to keep from smiling.

Now add a concert held by the light of the full moon into the mix—that’s pure magic!

You’re invited to experience the MacArthur under Moonlight Concert, Oct. 19, 2013, 7- 9 p.m. Local musicians Jamie Powell and Zemar Rednaski will have you tapping your toes to their Island Folk tunes. This concert series will be held October thru April featuring different entertainment every month.

Your whole gang is welcome and no reservations are required. Admission is $5 per person; children under age 10 are free. Doors open at 6 p.m. John D. MacArthur Beach State Park is located 2.8 miles south of the intersection of U.S.1 and PGA Blvd. on A1A in North Palm Beach. For more information, call the Nature Center at 561- 624-6952.

You should go.

Because who couldn’t use a little magic in their life?
