I doubt that anyone here in Florida is missing the snow—and the coughing car engines, treacherous roads, and icy sidewalks that often accompany it. Nevertheless, I admit that not being able to craft a snowman is a little sad.
My friend Melissa neatly solved this dilemma by creating a sandman, Florida’s version of this iconic, scarf-clad fellow.
He may look sort of half-melted, but you should notice that his hands are thrown up in joy and he’s smiling. You’d be in a good mood if you were here, too.
Happy holidays from the Sunshine State!
