Imagine a corner of the world with miles of shell-strewn shores. A place where nature thrives, where it’s common to see dolphins leaping in the surf, ospreys soaring, and great flocks of birds. Where mangroves fringe the roads. and you can bet on racing crabs, discover a giant metal toad parked in a garden, or munch on grouper sandwiches under a beach umbrella.

Sure, it sounds dreamy, but Sanibel and Captiva Islands are very real. And it’s only natural to want to learn more about them.

Starting January 2014, a new multi-media network will help you do exactly that. Sanibel-Captiva COASTE will feature everything about the Islands, on the web, in videos, in a digital magazine as well as a print magazine, and much more.

Follow the above link to check out the pre-launch site—it’s both beautiful and informative.

But be forewarned: even a short glimpse could result in a beach vacation!
