Video: Bahia Honda State Park

Bahia Honda. Just rolling the words over my tongue invokes memories of the state park nestled in the Florida Keys.

My husband Paul and I strolled along its curved beach in bare feet, Ospreys gliding on the laminar sea breeze beside us. We discovered a path that plunged into the forest, finally spilling out onto the old bridge, and were rewarded with soaring views of the entire island. We found a camp site alongside the Gulf of Mexico. We even found a garden made for butterflies.
