For starters, you can’t beat the weather this time of year in South Florida. It’s 75 and sunny every single delightful day, which is why Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden in Coral Gables is the perfect place to enjoy an outdoor Valentine’s Day concert.
On Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013 at 7 p.m. sway to the romantic sounds of jazz by legendary musician Arturo Sandoval amidst a lush tropical garden that the staff at Fairchild promises will be lit up like never before.
Either bring your own blankets and picnic baskets on the Garden House Lawn, or reserve a private table for two, where you will dine by candlelight. The menu from Macy’s Catering features wine, hors d’oeuvres, a buffet with fresh salads and local vegetables, a meat carving station and sumptuous desserts.

General admission for the concert is $60 for members, $75 for non-members, $25 for students with ID, $20 for ages 6-18, and free for ages 5 and under.
