Music aficionados travel for concerts. Foodies eat their way across the country. And every fall, plenty of book lovers make a pilgrimage to St. Petersburg for the Tampa Bay Times Festival of Reading.

The 20th annual event is scheduled for Oct. 20 at the University of South Florida St. Petersburg. As always, it's FREE. And as always, the lineup includes a constellation of literary stars.

This year's headliners include:

  • Michael Grunwald, The New New Deal
  • Rhoda Janzen, Does this Church Make Me Look Fat?
  • Bob Kealing, Calling Me Home: Gram Parsons and the Roots of Country Rock
  • Dennis Lehane, Live by Night
  • Lisa Unger, Heartbroken

See the full list of authors at festivalofreading.com. And as the title of this blog post implies, there's another event book lovers will won't want to miss. More on that tomorrow.
