There are certain places in Florida where wildlife viewing is incredibly easy. We've got spots where you can watch right from the comfort of your vehicle and lots of short scenic boardwalks that will get you up close to the wild things.
On Saturday Dec. 8 you can enjoy a wildlife walk at one of the most popular places for viewing – the La Chua trail boardwalk at Paynes Prairie Preserve State Park.
If seeing alligators – big ones in particular – is something you've been wanting to do I suggest taking part in this event. The boardwalk offers a good vantage point for seeing gators and it's a great place for photography.
The walk starts at the La Chua trailhead at 9 a.m. and there's a $2 fee for participants. For more information and to RSVP contact Amber Roux at (352) 466-4966.
