Amelia Island has so much going on this summer, from Independence Day celebrations and a blues fest, to its first-ever wine festival and smokin’ BBQ cook-off. Check out this list of upcoming events:

The Shops at Omni Amelia Island Plantation Fourth of July Celebration (June 30 - July 6)

If you like a bargain, you’ll love the Red, White & Blue Sale from June 30 to July 4. For families, there will be a Talent Show and Magic Show on July 2; a Kazoobie Kazoo Show on July 3 and 4; and Live music on June 30 and July 4. Visit for more details.

Stars and Stripes Freedom Festival (July 4)

Be a part of the annual Stars and Stripes Freedom Festival on Fernandina Beach July 4 at Main Beach Park. The fun goes from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., and there's always live music, food, arts and crafts, and fun games for the kids. One of cool things you can do here is make a video for troops overseas.

 Red, White and Deep Blue Celebration at The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island (July 4)

Luxury loves company so get to the The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island for their annual Red, White and Deep Blue Celebration. It will be July 4, from 7 - 10 p.m. The celebration is famous for its lavish, All-American Barbecue, family games, fireworks and live music. Call 904-277-1100 to make reservations.
