Airboat Rides in the Everglades

The Sawgrass Recreation Park in Weston is a great place to see alligators up close in the Everglades during a 30-minute airboat ride.

The Everglades are home to an abundance of wildlife, including soft-shell turtles, vultures and white Ibis birds to name a few.

At the Sawgrass Recreation Park, not only can you take an airboat ride around the Everglades with a knowledgeable driver you can also see alligators up close in the animal exhibits. There are also Florida panthers, baby bobcats, giant tortoises and snakes within the exhibit area. For the brave, there is even the opportunity to hold a baby alligator.

An airboat ride is a must when in Florida, it's a great way to see the Everglades.
