Happy Friday!

If you're looking for a great place to visit with plenty of recreational options, and one that's easy to get to, check out  check out Peanut Island in Palm Beach County. You can access it easily by boat from either the Curry Park Ramp, in West Palm Beach, or from Phil Foster Park, which is only a half mile or so from the main island and a few hundred yards from the sandbar known as "Little Peanut," where boaters also choose to hang out. It's an easy paddle for kayakers or those on Standup Paddle Boards.

You can also get a water taxi from the Sailfish Marina or Riviera Beach Marina.

There's awesome snorkeling in the lagoon and on the shallow reefs on the island's south side. Anglers love the fishing pier. And it's a great place to picnic and/or camp, thanks to the island's pavilions and natural areas set aside for camping.
