Barbeque has been making the news quite a bit lately.  I don't know if it's because barbeque is more popular in the summertime or if it's the next food trend, but one thing's for sure, sweet and spicy, fall-off-the-bone BBQ is sure to have a crowd lined up ready and waiting!

If you're a BBQ fan, then there is one food truck you'll want to make sure to add to your Twitter alerts and follow around throughout the week:  C&S Brisket Bus.
They make some of the best deli-style sandwiches around town.  Their secret?  House cured meats, house made condiments, and locally baked bread stack up to create the perfect hand-held meal to-go.

At a recent food truck gathering, my husband and I split their Classic Texas Style and Rueben Sandwich.  The Texas was a heaping mound of smoked brisket topped with fresh slaw and served on a sweet toasted Brioche bun.  My husband's Rueben had tender salty slices of pastrami that were so thick it looked as though he might need a fork and knife to tackle the thing!

Next time I'll have to try their version of a BLT which includes Root Beer Cured Bacon.  I've had sugared bacon, maple bacon, and even chocolate covered bacon, but never had it 'root beer cured.'  That sounds delicious!
