Go on a Camel Safari – in Lakeland!

Just when I thought I’d enjoyed every adventure in the Sunshine State, something new rides into the neighborhood.

Bu who would have thought you can enjoy a camel-back safari in Lakeland?

I’m as serious as a stingray!

At Safari Wilderness Ranch, you can explore 260 acres of exotic wildlife from Africa and Asia in a customized vehicle, hand feed Lemurs, opt for a horse-drawn carriage safari – or try the aforementioned camel-back safari tour.

The camel-back safari is unique, to say the least. Safari Wilderness Ranch believes it is the only full-on camel back safari in the United States, except at its sister property, Giraffe Ranch, in Dade City.

I’m going to have to call them right now…

I would love to film some animals here for my middle school class ! Where is the contact info?
The Giraffe Ranch uses consumers to pay for their advertising at $75 a pop when it has little intention of honoring vouchers. The owner is very unprofessional and told me that the vouchers don't generate enough revenue as she refused to even check if times were available when I only had my voucher information and not the other person in my party that I had woefully convinced to get one. She told me when she looked up my information that the camel ride was even "more exclusive than the safari," said they were not for everyone so to just get my money back from Living Social and then hung up on me. Ace of Hearts Ranch for horseback riding is a much better experience in customer service. This is what Living Social had to say about my experience and it is obvious I'm not the only person who had this experience: Hi Tristen,
