If you’re shellfish about your seafood, I’ve got a debate with your lips written all over it!

The 26th Annual Great Chowder Debate surfs into St. Augustines Conch House Marina on Nov. 6, 2011, promising a tasty treat of fun. More than 30 area restaurants come together in this celebrated competition to decide who serves up the best chowder.

Everyone can be a judge, and everyone most definitely includes you!

Savor the flavor of choice chowders in vast varieties – from local favorites like the Menorcan chowders to an assortment of New England chowders – concocted with clams, conch, lobster, scallops and crab and laced with herbs and spices.

Can you say yum?

The debate starts at noon and runs throughout the day. All proceeds benefit the Shriner’s Hospitals for Crippled Children.

It definitely speaks to me!
