It makes my toes curl just to look at the footage of the storms hitting the north.
People huddle inside layers of jackets, their faces twisted into grimaces. Tree limbs groan and crack and fall under the weight of the ice and snow. Cars creep through the slush, their drivers peering out small areas scraped on the windshields.
That’s one of the reasons I moved to Florida. I’m still wearing flip-flops. (Actually, I’m barefoot right now.)

I just checked out Key West’s average temperatures, just for fun. In January, the average high is 74°F, and the average low is 65°F. I think that’s the kind of information that could inspire you to chuck your snow jacket in the nearest drift and surf on down to the Sunshine State.
