Born to be Wild opens on Friday, April 8 at the National Naval Aviation Museum in Pensacola! This film about second chances (and narrated by Morgan Freeman) can be seen daily at 10 a.m., noon, 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. on the Museum’s Giant IMAX screen.
I just learned this, but this IMAX screen is the largest in the entire state of Florida! It soars nearly seven stories high and is 85 feet wide!
Ok, about the movie – it’s a family friendly documentary (rated G) that’ll take you to Kenya and Borneo as you follow adorable orphaned elephants and orangutans from birth to their rebirth into the wild. It’s also about the extraordinary humans who rescued and raised them. (I'll bring the Kleenex.)

And did I mention to tour the museum is FREE? AND, TIS THE SEASON FOR BLUE ANGELS! From March to November, the Navy’s famous Blue Angels practice at NAS Pensacola most Tuesdays and Wednesdays. (You can sit right on the bleachers on the Flight Line! That’s free too!)
Insider tip: After most practices on Wednesdays, the Blue Angels sign autographs inside the Museum.
