Top 3 Reasons to Visit Miami's Gold Coast Railroad Museum

All aboard! This season, train-lovers have more reasons than ever to visit the Gold Coast Railroad Museum in Miami:

  1. A new exhibit called the African-American Experience showcases Pullman porter memorabilia on loan from private collector Alan Laird.
  2. The museum has added a third weekend for its popular Thomas the Tank Engine train rides. Dates for the 2011 Day Out with Thomas are March 5-6, 12-13 and 19-20. The 25-minute ride features storytelling, live music and more.
  3. Get free admission the first Saturday of every month, with the exception of March. The gratis entry will resume in April.

Gold Coast Railroad Museum is at 12450 SW 152nd St., Miami. Regular admission is $6 for ages 12 to adult and $4 for ages 3 to 12. Kids 2 and under always get in free. Get more info at or 305-253-0063.
