You know a restaurant is cool when you're not sure how to pronounce the name. Case in point: Bistro Aix (sounds like "X.") If you haven't been to the Jacksonville eatery, now's a great time to check it out.
James Beard-nominated chef Tom Gray recently added seasonal dishes to the menu: Roasted organic beets drizzled with truffle vinaigrette. Moroccan lamb keftka. Stilton blue cheese pizza made in the wood-burning oven. Risotto with duck confit.

In total, there are 12 new winter dishes. Bistro Aix reworks its menu every few months, so even if you've been before, be sure to hit it up again. And when you do, dress to impress. The prices may be reasonable, but the decor is fancy-schmancy. This restaurant attracts the well-dressed set.
Here's an idea: Make reservations for Valentine's Day at Bistro Aix, then take your sweetie to St. Johns Town Center to shop for a new outfit before your big night out. Perfect!
