Art lovers, don't be disheartened. While the Boca Raton Museum of Art is closed through Oct. 11 for renovations, mark your calendars for its grand re-opening.

Experience four decades of work by Italian-born artist Valerio Adami at the Boca Raton Museum of Art beginning Oct. 12. Adami's paintings first gained popularity in the 1960's, introducing unique pop art colors and flat forms on a variety of themes, including: literature, travel, music, politics and poetry.

Other special exhibits include Robert Cottingham: Twenty Ways to See a Star and Romanticism to Modernism: Graphic Masterpieces from Piranesi to Picasso.

The Boca Raton Museum of Art is located at 501 Plaza Real in Mizner Park, Boca Raton. Admission is $8 for adults, $6 seniors, $4 for full-time students (with ID) and free for children 12-years-old and under.
