We definitely do a lot of traveling around the Sunshine State as a family, and recently we were at it again. This time with 11 of us in tow!

We did a family caravan to the Orlando/Kissimmee area to see a 'rolling world premiere' of a new play at the Shakespeare Theater. But this wasn't just any old play - my oldest nephew, Brandon, was playing a role so we had to be there for opening weekend!

We needed large units at a resort that could please everyone - and we found it at the Lake Buena Vista Resort Village & Spa

They offer two-, three-, and four-bedroom units, fully loaded, with kitchens, washers & dryers, whirlpool tubs, spacious living areas, flat screen TVs and a fantastic pool area complete with an enormous pirate ship!

We all loved the Lake Buena Vista Resort Village & Spa. You will, too. Everything you could want is right onsite, including a game room, a super fun Irish Pub with live entertainment, a Pizza Hut, a 9,000 sq ft spa, and a good-sized convenience store. I only wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy all these family-friendly amenities.

Are they close to Disney? You bet! They’re just 1.5 miles from Walt Disney World and they offer free shuttle service. Downtown Disney is right up the road as well.

Right next door to the resort is the Lake Buena Vista Factory Shops. We spent several hours ducking in and out of the 50+ stores and we used the stack of coupons we were given at check-in. Score!

Does your family like to swim, slide, eat poolside and get a little sun? Then check out the photos of the gigantic pirate ship complete with squirting cannons and a scream-inducing slide! The pool is also zero entry on the backside and they have a poolside bar and grill.

And the units were really comfortable, plenty of room (the four bedroom is 2,300 sq ft in size!) and each unit has a private balcony, perfect for watching the fireworks from the Disney theme parks. No kidding, you can hang out on your balcony in the eveing and have your own front row seat to a spectacular show.

Ready to move in? We are too. So remember the name, Lake Buena Vista Resort Village and Spa! For more information, visit www.lbvorlandoresort.com.

Have a blast!
