I couldn’t be more disappointed if I had busted a hole in my best beach bag.
On my recent trip to Martin County’s Stuart Beach, I chatted to a family about why they liked the destination. My hubby Paul videoed our chat, but unfortunately, the noise from the waves and the wind combined with our stumbling filming efforts made it impossible to hear what they said.
It was worth sharing, hence my disappointment.
The mother talked about the lifeguards taking the time to personally speak with her children about rip currents and how to stay safe, and about how much she liked the home-town vibe of Martin County and about how it was rarely crowded and that there aren’t any high-rises and that all the beach parking is free. The kids talked about how they had learned to surf there and what they were planning on learning next.
Check out the short – unfortunately, very short – flick of Stuart Beach that I took to start to understand why these Treasure Coast shores are such a treasure.
This video was shot with my KODAK Zx1 Pocket Video Camera.
