Did the World Cup stoke your fires for more European-centric sports? Well hustle over to Jacksonville this weekend as the Jacksonville Axemen host the Philadelphia Fight at 5:00 p.m. on the campus of the University of North Florida. The sport? Rugby!

The Axemen are undefeated, and even if you're a little unsure of the rules of rugby, take it from me, you will be entertained. The action is fast, furious and occasionally, gasp-inducing. It resembles a mix of football and futbol (soccer to us Americans), and it's being played at a very high level in the American National Rugby League, right here in Northeast Florida.

The tickets are cheap, good seats are available, and they even have cheerleaders! The Axe Maidens! This Saturday is the regular season finale (the season started back in May), so check 'em out and see if rugby truly is "the toughest game of all" as the AMNRL says!
