Talk about your extreme makeovers. In case you missed it, the Orlando Magic were wheeling and dealing like wild this weekend, and tonight the new crew gets its first test in Atlanta. After losing five out of six games, the Magic traded Rashard Lewis to Washington for Gilbert Arenas, then sent Vince Carter, Mickael Pietrus and Marcin Gortat to Phoenix for Jason Richardson and Hedo Turkoglu, who you may remember from the 2009 team that reached the NBA finals. Despite the recent slump, the team is still sporting a very nice 16-10 record, and of course Dwight Howard remains firmly entrenched in the middle.
You'll have three chances to see the new additions in Orlando this week, and they will be high-powered clashes. Tuesday they take on Dirk Nowitzki and the 21-5 Dallas Mavericks, Thursday it's the 23-3 San Antonio Spurs, and Saturday they go up against the big three of the Boston Celtics.
