This morning I made a list of all the people for whom I need to buy Christmas gifts. It was big on names but short on ideas. For some reason this year, I'm drawing a complete blank.
If I lived in the Tallahassee area, I'd definitely swing by the Market Days. The 45th annual arts and crafts festival takes place Dec. 4 and 5 at the North Florida Fairgrounds. There'll be a selection of gift ideas, stocking stuffers, home decor items and the like from more 300 nationwide vendors. While you shop, the rest of your brood can enjoy food vendors, football on the big screen and a children's arts and crafts tent.
The retail therapy extravaganza takes place Saturday, Dec. 4 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 5 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. If you want to shop before the crowds arrive, be sure to nab one of 1,000 early bird tickets good for Saturday from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.
Admission is $6 at the gate or $4 for children ages 6 to 12. Kids 5 and under get in free. Early bird tickets cost $25 and are available at select Tallahassee retailers. Proceeds benefit the Tallahassee Museum.

Now, where did I put that Christmas list?
