Heading to Orlando? If not, you maybe you should! That’s because CoCo Key Hotel and Water Resort has just opened, and it’s priced enticingly right for family fun, with rates from $99-$149.
But wait! It gets better! To celebrate their grand opening, they have Stay and Play mid-week specials for just $89 a night, and that price includes admission to the water park (usually $19 per room, per day).
If you like the tropicalness of the Florida Keys, you’ll feel right at home at CoCo Key with its Key West theme, brightly colored cabanas, swaying palms and thatched-roof architecture. They have 12 buildings here, with 391 guest rooms, including eight, two-bedroom suites and an interesting combo of rooms that connect not only side-by-side, but back-to-back! Can’t wait to explore those with my own family.
Here’s what you’ll find at the Coco Key Water Park:
- 54,000-square-foot canopy covered and outdoor water park
- Fourteen adventure water slides
- Four pools
- Parrot’s Perch, an interactive Play Island
- Minnow Lagoon featuring a zero-entry pool and water fun for little ones
- Coral Reef Cove, a teen pool
Here’s another plus for families: They have an onsite restaurant, a food court serving all kinds of kid-favorite foods and a Pizza Hut Express.
You’ll find CoCo Key on International Drive (I-Drive, as the locals call it), just five minutes from Universal and SeaWorld (ten minutes from Disney). CoCo Key is a Universal Partner Hotel which means you’ll get free transportation to and from the Universal theme parks (and remember, the new Wizarding World of Harry Potter with be opening June 18).
To take advantage of these special opening rates and to book future reservations, log on to their website (click on the Orlando tab) or call 877-875-4681. Enjoy!
