Easter Brunch Ideas in Vero Beach & Miami

By: Terry Ward

Still hoping the Easter Bunny's going to put together Sunday's meal for you? Why not take the pressure off cooking in and book a table instead at one of these delicious Easter brunch destination:

Cobalt Restaurant

I had a chance to pop by this oceanfront restaurant at Kimpton's Vero Beach Hotel & Spa last week, and let me tell you, the food is every bit as good as the uninterrupted ocean views. Chef Bradley Willits has a delicious buffet planned for Easter sunday. Think ricotta pancakes with ginger syrup, buttermilk fried chicken with bourbon gravy and sage and slow roasted prime rib with housemade Worcestershire sauce. $35 per person, $15 for kids. Call 772-469-1060 to book your table.

Heading to Miami and not dining at one of local chef extraordinaire MIchelle Bernstein's famed restaurants is pretty much like visiting Paris and passing on the Eiffel Tower. The Easter Sunday menu includes a buffet of tapas and salads followed by your choice of one of a dozen special entrees. $48 per person, $24 for children. Call 305-759-2001 for reservations.

Area 31

Key Biscayne and sweeping downtown Miami views will be the only thing to distract you from the food at this gourmet nosh spot inside the EPIC Hotel. The unlimited buffet includes Mimosas and Bloody Marys as well as a spread of waffles and pancakes, Eggs Benedict, Steak Frites, grilled corvina, baked rigatoni and more. From $65 per person and $22 for kids (free for kids 6 and under). Call 305-424-5234.
