Celebrated Beach

In the midst of the famous beaches of Miami and Fort Lauderdale rises Trump International Beach Resort, where you don't have to claim fame to be treated like a star or dig your toes into its wide apron of toasty sands.

The beaches of Miami and Fort Lauderdale possess star power, along with their more lauded solar power. The beaches have played starring roles in films for decades – from "Where the Boys Are" to "There's Something About Mary."

In the midst of these beach "movie stars" rises Trump International Beach Resort in the well-heeled community of Sunny Isles Beach. Here, beaches may be celebrities – known worldwide for their glamour – but you don't have to claim fame to be treated like a star at this resort or dig your toes into its wide apron of toasty sands.

Beach it like a rock star

Go ahead, treat yourself like a concert headliner and do the beach up right. A beachside cabana at the edge of the generous lap of beach takes your day in the sun to the ultimate in comfort and escape. Not only do you get to enjoy the salty sea breeze, the swish of the Atlantic surf and the glamorous people-watching, but you can also duck into spacious air-conditioning when the mood strikes, grab a cold one from the fridge, catch the game on TV and even indulge in a hot shower.

Trump International Beach Resort has designed a number of cabana food-and-drink packages – the Beer Package, Mojito Package, Vodka Package and Margarita Package – so you can stay on the beach all day. In addition to its beachside cabanas, Trump's poolside cabanas offer the same amenities but without the shower.

One, two, three ... action!

For active couples and families, the beach has got it going on. Trump's beach concession takes care of recreational needs from kayak rentals to an inflatable floating water park with a trampoline and slide. Your family is safe on this stretch of ocean, where lifeguards keep watch and waves are playful. Grandparents, parents and kids can have fun together at Sandcastle Mountain, complete with a sand sculptor instructor, or aboard a sailboat or Jet Skis.

When it's time to play apart, counselors at Planet Kids, the resort's half- and full-day kids program, will take them under their wing at no charge to search for seashells and to engage in other outdoor and indoor activities. In the meantime, you can indulge in something cold and frothy at the beach bar. Or do simply nothing at all.

American "idle"

Here's a competition where you're sure to excel: beach-bumming. Grab a beach chair and umbrella from the concession rentals and settle in. (No cell phones allowed!) If you prefer poolside, you have two choices, both overlooking the beach: One quiet pool is for adults only; the other, a rock grotto free-form pool, is splashy fun for families.

Both are convenient to Gili's Pool Bar & Grill, where your toughest work for the day will be deciding on one of its 12 different flavors of piña colada. Order up an easy lunch, while you're at it. Okay, that's it for the day's exertion. Now it's time for real relaxation that's sure to grab you the "idle" title.

For the final, crowning touch to your never-leave-the-beach fantasy, arrange for a Swedish massage in one of the beachside or poolside cabanas. The spa has designed food-and-massage packages for the utmost spa experience. Or take advantage of Trump International Beach Resort's Luxury on the Beach Package, where a treatment awaits you in the Aquanox Spa, top-rated by Condé Nast Traveler, once you've rocked your beach day to a close.
