Want to impress your guests at your next outdoor barbecue?  Here are three refreshing drinks I learned to make at Highball & Harvest's Cocktail Table Experience.  Yes, a cocktail experience!  It's like a chef's table, but with cocktails, and it's loads of fun.

Doc Holiday

.25 ounces Blueberry Jam
1.5 ounces Titos Vodka
.25 ounces Ruby Red Grapefruit Juice
1.25 ounces ginger beer

Add blueberry jam, vodka, and grapefruit juice to a martini shaker and give it a quick shake for 10-15 seconds.  Pour into a serving mug (a chilled copper cup like the one pictured above is best).  Then top off with ginger beer.  Enjoy!

Last Wish

1.5 ounces High West "Campfire" Whiskey
1 ounce spiced cola syrup
.5 ounce Old Havana Tobacco Bitters
.25 ounce orange zest

Pour whiskey, then syrup, and then the bitters into a cocktail glass.  Next, rub the rim of the glass with a bit of orange peel and then add the zest to the drink as a garnish.  Enjoy!

Southern Oats

1.5 ounces Oat Infused Rye Whiskey
1 ounce Cherry Chestnut Cocoa Syrup
.75 ounces cream
1 egg white

Pour ingredients into a martini shaker and shake vigorously for 3-5 minutes until egg white is well blended and frothy.  Serve with a sprinkle of nutmeg on top. Enjoy!
