Located on the Seven Seas Lagoon and a quick monorail ride from Magic Kingdom Park, the South Pacific theme at Walt Disney World's Polynesian Village Resort makes for a memorable location for family vacations.
With 360 deluxe studios and 20 over-the-water bungalows, Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows offer a prime base of operations for your family.
The deluxe studios with tropical decor sleep five people. Each has a hidden pull-down bed and comes with the option to connect to an adjacent room for more space.
The Bora Bora Bungalows are two-bedroom, two-bath accommodations featuring a view of the lagoon and Cinderella’s Castle in the distance.
The bungalows also feature full kitchens, and each bedroom has its own flat-panel television, washer and dryer, two hidden-pull down beds and even a private plunge pool on the back patio.
Polynesian Music, Snacks & Amenities
For an extra touch of magic, the music from the Wishes fireworks display is piped into the back patio speakers.
If you’re looking for a snack, stop by the resort’s Pineapple Lanai for a tasty Dole Whip – a mixture of soft-serve ice cream and pineapple.
The resort’s new Lava Pool features an interactive kids area, perfect for cooling off after a day at the parks.
Insider Tip: For a great view of the Magic Kingdom’s nightly fireworks, grab a tropical drink and enjoy the view from the patio of the new Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto. It’s a great view with a great atmosphere.
