FLORIDA Q&A

Just wondering if you could help? We are looking for "rental" or "cottage" in Florida for 4 peopl in April. We have a special needs child and we need a kitchen and a larger space than a hotel room.We are looking for a place close enough to travel to a beach but also close to travel to some of the attractions like Universal Studios and check out other attractions. Can you recommend a place that might fit our families needs?Thanks so much!! :)

I definitely can recommend a few places around Orlando perfect for your family's needs. I love to stay at resorts that offer full kitchens as it saves on money with eating out. One of my all-time favorites is Liki Tiki Village about seven miles from Disney. They offer one- two- and three-bedroom units, with full kitchen stocked with all your pots/pans/silverware/plates/glassware and there is plenty of room for everyone. And, who needs a theme park when you've got a resort swimming area like this one - it's got big water slides, little water slides, a coconut fountain that dumps water, an erupting volcano, a toddler area, and a poolside area for eats and drinks. Nearby is also mini golf, and lots of restaurants. Also, if you want something even a little bigger, try The Florida Store Vacation Home Rentals. They offer home rentals and vacation condos in the area. Have a great stay in our beautiful state!
