The Lago Mar Resort and Club: This Fort Lauderdale resort will help design a retreat tailored to your family's interests and budget. While the resort doesn't offer special family reunion packages, the friendly folks here can help your family plan special activities, including a private poolside dinner or a chartered sunset cruise, as well as special group accommodation rates.

Accommodations include standard guestrooms and suites with sleeping room for up to four people. Or opt for a three-bedroom villa, which comes with a full kitchen and water or garden view porches. The resort offers numerous activities including tennis, fishing, kiteboarding, kayaking, scuba diving and snorkeling the coral reef, and a special dolphin interaction programs. The Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa:
This Destin resort on the Gulf of Mexico offers discounted group rates for 10-plus rooms, depending on the time of year and availability. Event managers can help with menu planning, parties, tournaments and themed events for your family reunion. Ballrooms here can accommodate a reception up to 1,500 people and functions can also be held on an outdoor deck area or on the beach.

The resort offers an immaculate beach, golf, tennis, access to one indoor and two outdoor pools, five dining options, Internet service, a spa and fitness center and supervised kids activities. Accommodations are all suites, including family-friendly deluxe "junior suites," which come with bunk beds tucked away in an alcove.
