Pensacola Scenic Bluffs Highway offers views of the highest points along Florida's entire coastline.
The Pensacola Scenic Bluffs Highway is a unique driving experience offering panoramic views of Escambia Bay from giant bluffs that are the highest points along Florida's entire coastline. Approximately 11 miles in length along U.S. 90, this scenic highway travels from the Bayou Texar Bridge to the north end of the U.S. 90 Bridge across the Escambia River. Access the highway from I-10 by taking I-110 south to U.S. 90/98 (Cervantes St.) and following U.S. 90 east.

As you explore the Pensacola Scenic Bluffs Highway, stop at the 32-acre
Bay Bluffs Park, (850) 436-5670, south of the I-10 overpass. This unique, enchanting park offers numerous wooden boardwalks leading visitors through dense forest, under beautiful canopies of oaks and pines, to the warm waters of Escambia Bay. Large bluffs of red clay, once used to make bricks, line the beaches and blend with the soft white sands. Take a walk along the beaches of the Bay Bluffs Park and watch the sun rise from the horizon over the soft waves of Escambia Bay.

National Museum of Naval Aviation, (850) 452-3606, where you will find countless things to touch, see and experience. Displays trace the history of flight from wooden planes to the Skylab module, including 150 restored military aircraft. This aviation museum is one of the largest in the world with attractions like flight simulators and an adjoining IMAX
® Theater presenting big-screen aviation films that make you feel like you're in the cockpit. Visitors to the museum must use the west entrance to Naval Air Station (NAS) Pensacola, at the end of Blue Angel Hwy. Head west on U.S. 90 to U.S. 98. Follow U.S. 98 then turn left on Barrancas Ave. (S.R. 292), which becomes Gulf Beach Hwy. Follow Gulf Beach Hwy. then turn left onto Blue Angel Hwy. (U.S. 173).
