Geocaching is like a grown-up, high-tech treasure hunt. Coordinates are placed online and geocachers use a GPS unit to find the hidden treasure.

VISIT FLORIDA and the Columbia County Tourist Development Council have teamed together to develop the first official VISIT FLORIDA Geocache. It is a multi-staged cache that begins at the I-75 Welcome Center and leads down to Lake City.

VISIT FLORIDA’s cache coordinates can be found here.

The coordinates are also available in the I-75 Welcome Center.
