Nature and technology live side by side in Titusville.

Titusville is a city where space meets nature. Located on the shore of the beautiful Indian River Lagoon overlooking the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge, Canaveral National Seashore and NASA's Kennedy Space Center, the former fishing village is a vision of success in combining America's high-tech future while preserving the natural beauty of Florida.

As one of Florida's most popular and affordable attractions, the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, along with the Valiant Air Command's Warbird Museum, offers a closer view of the past, present and future of space exploration. The Space Walk of Fame is a tribute to the astronauts and workers whose dedication and innovative thinking launched man into space. And what a great place from where to watch a space shuttle launch!

Shopping for antiques in the historic downtown area can only be topped off by dining at some of the best restaurants on the coast, ranging from national steak chains to Florida's most famous family run seafood restaurant.

After the excitement of the space center, a day relaxing on Playalinda Beach is perfect. A nature cruise of the Indian River Lagoon provides a closer look at dolphins, manatees and one of the largest varieties of shore birds in the world. The November Space Coast Birding & Wildlife Festival draws birders from around the world. Titusville is also known for its fishing. Known as the "Redfish Capital of the World," there are deep sea, surf, inshore and freshwater fishing available.

Experience bird and wildlife viewing during an Airboat ride on the St. Johns River or one of the many lakes in the area. Horseback rides on the beach are great family fun or try one of our six golf courses.
