Whether you are looking to relax and explore natural Florida, sit outside and soak in the sun during a professional sports outing or sit on the edge of your seat during a high-speed hydroplane boat race, you'll find it in Stuart. Bicycle paths connect areas throughout the county and meander through tree-lined roads that lead to parks with marinas, boat launches, tennis and raquetball.

The New York Mets, Los Angeles Dodgers and Washington Nationals all have spring training complexes within a short drive of Stuart, and are in close proximity to two world class Jai-Alai Frontons in Fort Pierce and West Palm Beach.

Also nearby is Hobe Sound Nature Center and Wildlife Refuge and Jonathan Dickinson State Park, where visitors can meander down nature trails or canoe out to deserted peninsula beaches.

Scenic cruises are also available on the St. Lucie Canal and drives along Ocean Boulevard out to Jensen Beach are particularly rewarding. Stuart and its beaches is a great vacation spot for outdoor adventure and relaxing recreation.
