Palm Coast, north of Flagler Beach, offers golfing, fishing and nature outings.

Get back to nature and relax in luxury in beautiful Palm Coast. The city offers fabulous upscale golf and tennis resorts as well as breathtaking nature preserves.

It is always tee time in Flagler County's Palm Coast. Everyone from the novice to the accomplished tennis player can quench their thirst for the game in beautiful Palm Coast. Activities such as the Palm Coast Tennis Center's Rally for Life and Junior classes are offered locally.

Boating and fishing in the picturesque Intracoastal Waterway are also favorite pastimes for visitors. Both fresh and saltwater fishing can bring the catch of the day here in Palm Coast. Bings Landing, located on the Intracoastal, offers a boat launch and picnic facilities for visitors. This seven-acre park, once a part of General Joseph Hernandez's Mala Compra Plantation where he grew Sea Island cotton and sweet oranges, now has picnic and boat launch facilities.

The Princess Place Preserve is a historic and environmental treasure. The original lodge built by Henry Cutting stills stands as Flagler County's oldest intact structure. The preserve was purchased by Henry Cutting in 1886 and passed on to his widow Angela Mills Cutting Worden, who eventually married Boris Scherbatoff, an exiled Russian prince. The 1,500-acre preserve contains marshes, freshwater wetlands and 16.2 miles of hiking and horseback riding trails. Visitors can also watch for a variety of birds and other wildlife at the Preserve.

Located on a barrier island, Washington Oaks Gardens State Park consists of 415 acres of coastal scenery extending from the Intracoastal to the Atlantic Ocean. A portion of the hammock contains the formal gardens where many species of exotic plants from around the world are displayed along footpaths and reflecting pools. A scenic, self-guided trail leads visitors along the marsh between the interpretive center and a picnic area.
