Oviedo is just a short drive from big-city Orlando, but offers the comfort and personality of a small town.
Oviedo, once known for its growth of citrus and celery, is now also recognized for its old-world Florida charm. The area has a rich and colorful history, and the town continues to thrive today by looking back to its roots. Oviedo is considered to be one of the fastest growing areas in all of Florida, but the people preserve Oviedo's small town history.

Bolstered by its proximity to the University of Central Florida, as well as the city of Orlando, Oviedo continues to grow. Visitors will find the best of both worlds - a quaint, small town atmosphere enveloped by abundant trees and freshwater lakes, and yet only a short drive to area beaches and all the Orlando attractions.
Oviedo is a great place to visit if the enchantment of a small town with all the amenities appeals to you.

There is much to do within the Oviedo limits as well. The town is host to the delectable "A Taste of Oviedo" outdoor festival held each May. The event includes live entertainment, cuisine from local restaurants, children's activities and much more. Visitors can also enjoy a relaxing game of golf on one of the many golf courses or take a trip to the Oviedo Marketplace, a new regional mall featuring an impressive array of stores for your shopping delight.

Oviedo is a great place to visit if the enchantment of a small town with all the amenities appeals to you. Why not have the best of both worlds? A quiet, beautiful, small town setting with all the finest central Florida has to offer.
