The Atlantic Coast city of Stuart is located on the Treasure Coast, north of Palm Beach and south of Vero Beach. This “Sailfish Capital of the World" and Martin County seat is known for its pedestrian-friendly downtown. It became Stuart in 1895, after a local landowner.
