Mote Aquariumvia Facebook The Aquarium at Mote Marine Laboratory is open 365 days a year, including all major holidays. Spend Memorial Day at Mote on Monday, May 28 and discover sharks, seahorses, manatees and more, while learning about the world-class research at our Lab. Mote is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 1600 Ken Thompson Parkway on City Island, Sarasota. Admission is $17 for adults, $16 for seniors and $12 for kids ages 4-12. Kids 3 and younger and Mote Members always get in free. As we honor those who have served our country this Memorial Day, Mote is also pleased to offer free admission to active-duty military personnel who present their current ID at the admissions desk.
