Description

Running from Miami-Dade County to Key West, the roughly 1,700 islands of the Florida Keys were formed from a coral reef and divide the Atlantic Ocean and Gulf of Mexico. This archipelago includes the cities of Key West and Marathon, and is reached by the Overseas Highway.
