Bokeelia Cracker Café’- Come and enjoy some great food and a tasty beverage while taking in the great sounds of the Second Chance Band from 5pm-close Lovegrove Gallery & Gardens- Offers a historical and ecological walking tour of Matlacha every Friday and Tuesday morning at 9:00 AM. Nav-A-Gator – Peace River Wildlife Center will have a fundraiser on the grounds of the Nav-A-Gator Grill and Marina located at 9700 SW Riverview Cir Lake Suzy, FL 34269. The Peace River Wildlife Center is a non-profit wildlife rehabilitation and exhibition facility which relies on donations and volunteers to care for the wildlife. Some of the fundraising activities will be a Chinese auction and a 50/50 raffle. Along with the fundraiser we will also have live music by Jim Morris 2-5pm. Come on out and show your support for a great organization, and listen to the music. Fundraiser activities will be underway from 2-5pm during the musical part of the day. Come and “Muck About" Pine Island Sound, chance to wade & learn first-hand about the plants & animals of local estuaries. Must wear sturdy shoes, clothing to get wet. Twenty (20) participants per date; children over 9 permitted with accompanying adult. Pre-registration only; call 239-283-2157. Activity begins at the Calusa Heritage Trail pavilion. Come out for a great cause featuring these bands: Super Bot, Traffic Jam, Sand Fleas, Blueeyed Devil, Renee Hose, Keith Clanton, Ground Zero. 25% of the proceeds will be donated to Bear’s for his medical issues.
